OHHHH... how much more could I love this Sugar Daddy set from Bombshell? I LOVED coloring it and embellishing it and just giving this guy his personality! It was really fun to make the money look like he was just throwing it all around...(my kinda guy...LOL) and holding his winning hand!

I used crystal effects on his eyes,nose and tongue to give them a realistic look. I added the rhinestone ribbon slide to compliment his flashy wardrobe and here he is... in all his glory! Thanks for popping in and have a great day!

Bombshell Hump Day Hop! My Very First One!

So this is my very first Bombshell Hump Day Hop, and I could not be more excited!
the theme was to GOTH p your Bombshell Stamps.This was a little bit challengeing for me... but I did my best! I gave her smokey eyes with crazy long lashes and loads of liner... oh yeah... Purple hair too!

So here is my creation...
Notice her "tattoo?" I think she looks pretty "Goth"... what do you think?

I added  a little bit of crystal effects to her eyes so they would look like...well... eyeballs! And I think they look pretty cool... yeah?  Here is the list of players in todays hop... make sure to hop around and check out the awesomeness! Thanks for popping in!

Woodware USA Challenge #15...A Shaped Card

Look at Me...Using a DIGI!!!

I DID... I USED A DIGI!!! They are not my forte... but I Love the stamps and the people at In Style Stamps. I made this card using the BUTTERFLY image... and its a digi! I cut a piece of designer paper to 8.5 x 11 and i put it in the printer and said a prayer. I got my file ready to print and VIOLA!!! Out it popped... THEY WAY I WANTED IT TO! So I then cut out the butterfly, added some helmar 3 d glue dots to the body and the antennea and popped the wings. I used crystal effects on some of the flowers and flitter on the others. I put a sparkley gem in the middle of some of the flowers and used a rub on for the sentiment... and check it, I got my water mark on there too! Yeah me! Elaine Cox's sheet 14 (plate 84)

I just adore these stamps and I love all of the unique artists that are offered at SWEET PEA STAMPS. Elaine Cox's designs have caught my eye because they are so very detailed and I LOVE that !I also love to detail them more after I have colored them in. For this image, I colored her face and hair with copic markers,and the water was done with water color crayons. Then I used glitter and gel pens to accent the water and her tail. I also colored over her tail with Shimmerz and I added Crystal Effects to the water for some extra shine. For the pearls in her hair, I used my viva decor pen. I used Nesties in the background for the pink lattice circles and here is my creation. I  used some cuttle bug strips to emboss the top and bottom to make it look like bubbles. Faux Stitching and a Cocktail!!!

Thanks for coming over to see the challenge of the week... Faux Stitching! I used the cocktail set and nesties to make a fun shaped card.I had to stop myself or else I would make it look like Frank-en Card!LOL!

Today, I'm showing you a card made with our very first digi set Harvest Crow...How DARN CUTE IS THIS GUY!? I colored him with gamsol and colored pencils. Then I added some crystal effects on the apples for that delish shine!I used my nesties to cut him out and layered him on some super cute DP and added the ribbon... and here is my creation!

Buttons, Stamps, Snowmen, Glitter AND Free Ink Pads?

Well...by mid week you should know that the challenge is to use buttons on your card. I used the I LOVE SNOWMEN set and guess what??? It HAS button stamps in the set!!! WAHOO!!! I stamped the image and colored it with copics and then I stamped the buttons. I cut them outand then I jazzied them up with crystal effects and stickles. I also used 3 snowflake buttons and stickled them up too! How fun was that??? I used the ribbon to match the patterned paper and glittered up the snowmen too... and here is my card! so fun and snowy! Thanks for looking..

I made this card for a Challenge over at Bombshell Stamps and for my Borther In law who is gonna be loving this sassy gal! She is from BOMBSHELL stamps and I had so much fun with her! I colored her with copics and for the glass, I covered it with crystal effects to make it shiny. I used a rub on for the sentiment and glitter for the rims of both glasses! I am going to enter her in some challenges as well because this is a fun card... and she must be shown to the masses! thanks for popping in! WoodWare Anything Goes ... Even Glitter Alligators?

I LOVE to do anything goes... I LOVE thinking outside the box and here is what I did. I stamped the alligator from JUNGLE PALS onto acetate with stazon ink in jet black. Then, on the same side that I stamped on, I filled in various areas of the gators with crystal effects and dumped glitter on it and repeated the process with different colors and glitters and here is what I came up with. I used pop dots to life the acetate alligator panel off the paper so the light would show through and I covered the dots with the leaves that I cut out. I added the leaves under the panel too and got out the stickles and jazzed them all up! This was really a fun technique and it was funny too because Milo, my 15 year old Jack Russell STILL has glitter on him... and so does my hubby...(but that can be our little secret!)

(remember that song) Anyway... Dawn here and I am proud to be posting this fine Wednesday as my first post and DT Coordinator for these fabby Woodware stamps! I made these 2 cards using the COCKTAILS set and i really had fun creating! I used diamond glaze for the glass highlights and some glitter for the bubbles on the top of this fruity drink. for this next card... I also added crystal effects to the ice cubes and added glitter to make 'em shine! The I paper Pieced the ice cream and added some crystal effects and the "cherry" on top is a button that I added while the crystal effects were still wet! There you have it... easy peasy lemon squeezey!

ARTful Inkables... SEW YOU...

Ya know...it happens to everyone. You get a new awesome set of stamps or 2 (thanks Kristin) and then YOU GET SICK!!! And I mean Hospital sick and YOU CANNOT STAMP!!! SERIOUSLY???Well... this is one of the cards I made before all of that silliness happened and I wanted to make sure that I showed you this gorgeous set from ARTful Inkalbes. It is called SEW YOU and has everything to do with sewing. Paper Makeup's M4TW Challenge

Ok, so this time, the challenge was challenging for sure! It was to make a card with NO LAYERS!!! How is that even POSSIBLE, I thought? Well...it can be done. I used this super cute apple set and I alligned all of the apples onto a clear block.Then, I stamped them all at the same time onto my card. Then I added the sentiment seperately. I colored the apples with copic markers and then added crystal effects to make them look shiny and delicious! I used glitter pens for the green lines and added some bling in the corners. Welcome to the M4TW19... Makeup for the weekend challenge number 19, that is!

Every weekend, Paper Makeup has a challenge that is called Makeup for the Weekend... or M4TW for short. The number indicateswhat challenge we are on...19 already... that was fast! 

This week, it was a color challenge. We were to use kraft, red and blue. Here is the guy that I came up with using joe the baseball squid. He is colored with copic markers and I put crystal glaze over his one eyeball to make it all shiney.I used SCS sketch challenge number 270 as well. I tried to make something that would be kinda boyish because that is where I need the most practice with my creations! Double Duty Duckie!

Again, I love to combine the Midnight Madness Challenge and the Copic color challenge! So here is my guy. Click on the links provided to see the sketch at midnight madness and the colors at the copic challenge. I did not have the EXACT colors, but I was close and they let ya substitute! and at the Midnight Madness challenge, they are having a drawing for some pretty hefty blog candy! So please check it out! I learned how to color balloons this weekend to make them look transparent... and I found this stamp in my stash... so he is also working for my whip it Wednesday challenge as well... Tall, Cool One... DRS Style!

I made this card a little bit ago and I wanted to share it with y'all... now that the weather is getting nicer!(LOL)
I stamped the beer mug image and I cut it out with my nesties. While it was still in the nestie, I added some sponging for a really cool effect. Then I colored the image with copic markers and added crystal effects to the mug. Before I did that, i painted the beer with SHIMMERZ so it would look all sparkly! Then I added the liquid applique for the foam. The dimension that stuff gives is FABBY! And watching it fluff as you heat it... DIVINE!!! I cut another piece of paper with my nesties and cuttlebugged it with the bubbles for the beer bubbles. I added some ribbon and ... THEN... on the inside... the most fun sentiment. It says "Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy!" and guess who said that??? Ben Franklin... That cracked me up! After I added some fun ribbon and mounted it on black paper... I called it a card and here it is! I hope that you enjoyed this one... on me!

PMS Monday Challenge... Sketch Challenge, That is!

I did this card for the sketch Challenge over at Paper Makeup stamps. I LOVE this monster... Dreck... or is he an alien? Anyway, here he is and I just love him! I used the sketch on the PMS blog to create this card. Please check it out and know that you can play along with any of our challenges! Just use the handy dandy Mr. Linky to link up your creation! Then, on Sunday before the new challenge is issued... we do a SUNDAY SHOWOFF and feature the cards that were linked up! Cool, huh?
I colored Dreck with copic markers and I used crystal effects for his eyeball... I did that before too... I think it looks so real that way!(LOL) Then I cut the 3 circles and inked them up and adhered them together. For the purple strip, I painted it with SHIMMERZ and then punched the lacy edge... monsters can have a soft side too!I tied the ribbon at the top and added the sentiment to the lower right side with a rub on... maybe that is how you DO say hello where Dreck is from.
