Sweet Pea Blog Hop Featuring the Artwork Of Caron Vinson

Welcome to the Sweet Pea Blog Hop...featuring the work of Caron Vinson. I used her image Blue Fairy in my card today. I had to go against the grain and make my "Blue" Fairy Pink! I colored her using Derwent Inktense watercolor pencils and I love the effect they give! For the embellishments, I used some glittery paper, some awesome flowers and the prettiest pink ruffled ribbon for May arts.
Currently all Caron Vinson designs are 25% off AND if you leave a comment atevery blog along the way...you will be entered in a drawing for a $20 gift certificate! Here are your stops along the way:

How precious is this image from Karen Middleton's sheet 9, plate 128?  I adore the whimsy and sweetness that she brings to stamping! Woodware USA Challenge 18... Spring has Sprung

This weeks Challenge over at Woodware USA is to create a spring themed card. I used the Ted in the Garden Woodware set. I colored it with copic markers. Iused a punch for the grass, and did some sponging on it for a variation in color. the butterflies are from a die that I had and I used the atyou spica pens on the for some glitter and bling. I used a cloud template in the background and did some sponging to add them...
Please make sure you show us your creation when you play along and add your creation to the Woodware USA blog located here! thanks for popping in!

DRS Plant Shelf,Washi Tape and Copics of Course!

I got this fun new stuff... WASHI TAPE... that is the fun spotted tape in the background. It is easy to use because it is tape... it just sticks where you put it. It comes in a zillion colors and patterns and it is pretty affordable. I colored this image with my copic markers and I used the spica atyou pens for the glimmer on the plant leaves. I have LOVED this Plant Shelf image from DRS Designs for soooo long and I finally own it... get ready to be sick of it!(LOL) I used the decorative corner punch to mount my blue cardstock to the black and here is my card. Pretty simple and clean... I didnt want to get to carried away with the embellies... as I can. Thanks for popping in and make sure to go to the DRS Designs blog for the Stamp A Day Giveaway for the entire month of June!
