Sweet Pea Blog Hop Featuring the Artwork Of Caron Vinson

Welcome to the Sweet Pea Blog Hop...featuring the work of Caron Vinson. I used her image Blue Fairy in my card today. I had to go against the grain and make my "Blue" Fairy Pink! I colored her using Derwent Inktense watercolor pencils and I love the effect they give! For the embellishments, I used some glittery paper, some awesome flowers and the prettiest pink ruffled ribbon for May arts.

Woodware Challenge 37... Anything Goes!

I used this really fun set called Flower Fairies and colored it with derwent water color pencils. I cut out the flower pots and placed them in the grass that was made with a punch. Today, I would like to show you the card I made with the gorgeous stamp from Rebecca Sinz called

 "The Dutchess"

I colored her with derwent inktense watercolor pencils and I also used spica glitter pens for that bit of fairy sparkle... I added some stickles to my flowers and here is my creation!

Asian Inspired Stamps From Bombshell!

Oh how gorgeous are these stamps? I love the look of them and the creativity they inspire... and lets face it... that is what it is all about after all isn't it? Being creative is what keeps me going and really flexes my minds muscles... I love the process and I find joy when others love the product!

I made this card with on of Bombshell Stamps newest Stamp sets called Lotus garden. I stamped the image on to water color paper and then I used my Derwent Inktense colored pencils to color them in. Then i Stickled (is that a word?) the heck out of them and here is my card!

Nothing Like a Pig in a Tutu to Get a Party Started!

I love this stamp from Art Impressions! I colored her with Derwent Inktense water color pencils and then added the trim and such! I of course used Viva Decor for the pearls in the corners. I will never buy sticky pearls again with all of the choices available from Viva Decor! I AM LOVING THESE!

Woodware Challenge number 10...ANYTHING GOES

This is my favorite Woodware set...Cocktails... LOVE IT!!! I stamped my image and then I colored it with Derwent Inktense water color pencils (my NEW fave) and I added some glitter to the "sweat" on the glass... I stamped the citrus slice in the background and I added some glitter to the center for a little extra bling. I love the oreange and yellow together... it has me craving a hot day and a cold drink!
