ARTful Inkables Think Ink Challenge... ATC into a Card!

So our challenge at ARTful Inkables this week was to make an ATC and then turn it into a card... so I used the set Sunburst Dandies to create this ATC. I embossed the glitter flowers over the red circle and sponged some clouds into the background. I stamped my sentiment onto some SUNNY card stock and punched it out. I mounted the entire thing onto a green piece of paper and that was my ATC.
And here is my whole card. I just sponged a white A2 sized card and adhered my ATC onto it! Please play along with this challenge and make sure to post to the ARTful Inkables blog so we can see your creation and there are prizes! Thanks for popping in ... see ya tomorrow with another fun challenge...

In Honor of the Snow Storm in North Carolina

OK... So I am from Buffalo, NY. I am used to snow... 2-4 inches is nothing.I would still be getting my mail barefoot if I was in NY. Well, not so in the South, dear readers! We are BRACING for a snow storm , consisting of 2-4 inches (giggle, giggle!) The town shuts down, there is not a jug of milk or an egg to be seen in ANY grocery store...and don't you DARE leave your house!!! All that snow is just TREACHEROUS!!!I really made this card for a DT call at Shimmerz. I am sure all of you that read my blog know by now that I LOVE THIS STUFF! I could just eat it! I colored this image with my copic markers and put Shimmerz on her pom pom, fur around her hat and boots and her wings. I used OPAL. I also sponged December Sky Blingz around the edges of the card.I used my nesties to cut the sky and layered it on the dark blue and adhered my image... I love the way this came out and i hope that you will love this too...thanks for stopping by and stay out of the snow! I know I will!!!

Halloween Pumpkins in the Moonlight!

I made this small card using the All Hallow's Eve stamp set from Inkadinkado. It was really easy and inspired by Zindorf... the goddess of everything brayered! I did use my sponges for the background and the sky...I stamped the pumpkins and colored them with copics. I embossed them with clear embossing powder. Then I sponged the background with greens and blues... and a little bit of black in the sky. I embossed the spider webs with black embossing powder and highlighted them with glitter pens. I highlighted the pumpkins and the vines with silver pen and then I added the moon! This was super easy and fun to make! Break out the sponges ladies... and get creative! they are fun and YOU WILL get your fingers dirty!!!
