Think Ink Challenge... Red,White and Blue... And NO CARDS!!!

The Challenge over at ARTful Inkables was to create anything but a card using red white and blue. I made this 3 x 3 not card holder using the Happy Everything set. I made it pretty simple and not alot of coloring and then I jazzed them up with stickles and sponging. This was so simple to make and I like the fact that this would make a wonderful gift and it will fit a bunch of occasions! Thanks for popping in and have a wonderful day! AND ... pop in tomorrow for the AI Twilight Eclipse blog hop!

YUMMMMM.... These Look Good Enough To Eat!

I love the crisp, clean look of this card. It was a quick and fun and NON STRESSFUL card to make. I love to color... so the berries were perfect for me and Then I got to use my fave background stamp, the Plaid Maker. And the sentiment? What a wonderful excuse to send someone a card...to wish them a blessed day!
All of the Images are from DRS DESIGNS and in case you have been away from your computer for the month of June... you still have a few days left to go to the DRS Designs blog to enter the stamp a day giveaway. all you have to do is leave a comment... EASY PEASY!!! Thanks for popping in!

Water Colors, Scrolls Work Stamps and a Little Teary...

I love this stamp from Scrolls Work Stamps. The momma smooching her baby... so sweet and for me a little sad. Next Month... MY baby turns ONE!!! And today, My Precious Ava lost a tooth. Father Time... You are KILLING me!
ANYWAY...about my card. Well...I wet water color paper with water and I dropper SU reinkers on it to get the soft and swirly background. While it was drying... I water colored the image that I stamped with STAZON because I did NOT want the image lines to blur. While THAT was drying (and drying can be sped up with a heat gun) I thought that my background needed branches, so I water colored them onto my background. Then I thought it needed flowers to match momma's kimono. I made 5 small dots in a circle with a water based marker and then I blurred it with a paintbrush and water. I added the flower centers with a white gel pen while they were still a little bit damp. I adhered my momma and baby and here is my creation. Thanks for popping in!

A Sunny Hello! With ARTful Inkables SUNBUST DANDIES

I LOVE this set from ARTful Inkables so much that I think I am gonna marry it! This card was quick and simple and I just adore the way it came out... soft and pretty and Clean and SIMPLE.Yep... Me... I did a clean and simple! Anyway, I used the Sunburst Dandies set and this took me about 10 minutes to create. With the hazy, CRAZY days of summer... ya gotta like that! I stamped the pink part of the flowers and then I embossed over them with white EP and then I stamped the sentiment. The stems on the flowers are stamps and the "grass" is simply lines that I made with my marker. I went over the grass with shimmerz and here is my creation. Thanks for poppin in... have a sunny day!

Then, I misted the paper HEAVILY with water and got our my handy dandy re inkers. I watered them down and I used a brush to touch some color into the areas of the wings and the color spreads and looks AMAZING! Then, I went about making my card and here is my creation! The card has a very shimmery look to it IRL because I stamped the butterfly onto sparkly paper. Thanks for stopping in and have a wonderful day!
