I am on the STAEDTLER design team... and LORDY... they have been good to me! They sent me a package a while ago and it contained these <a href="http://staedtler.com/">STAEDTLER</a> Watercolor Markers from Marsgraphic Jr.So being a card maker... I got out the stamps and here is what happened and how...</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg7_tIo0_Y-jsVqj-Rxxhylcf5Acchth9R3yjHswi8fdep3YS3dM6yj1VvNqIiOa5cA8_4CSWh6RvP-PuGvsEvhhrTOaJE5i915_OVObGsz9E_v6OaXEV8GQ7nAq2KCgDn8fdKojGj_wo0/s1600/IMGP8023.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" dea="true" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg7_tIo0_Y-jsVqj-Rxxhylcf5Acchth9R3yjHswi8fdep3YS3dM6yj1VvNqIiOa5cA8_4CSWh6RvP-PuGvsEvhhrTOaJE5i915_OVObGsz9E_v6OaXEV8GQ7nAq2KCgDn8fdKojGj_wo0/s320/IMGP8023.JPG" width="251" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">I stamped this little Mermaid onto some watercolor paper with STAZON ink. I knew I had to use that ink because this was gonna be getting wet!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">I colored near the edge of the image and used a brush to move the color around and "paint" with it. Then I cut her out and adhered her to the front of this card. I created the opening with a nestie.</div><br />

Then, I used a water brush to move the color again and this is the result...</div><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEinRvHViQUAvMKxzkQ4wPx-_S97PYgFahNy43pde6dfhAxS6oOwK_iLwwYvkQOBE9v0GdWU3iWSih5VCr980Zii2z3hla8MDUvLAwgNTywScD_8Wx37XGME6LvUE7cWorCeoNKyuwXpq1U/s1600/IMGP8026.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" dea="true" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEinRvHViQUAvMKxzkQ4wPx-_S97PYgFahNy43pde6dfhAxS6oOwK_iLwwYvkQOBE9v0GdWU3iWSih5VCr980Zii2z3hla8MDUvLAwgNTywScD_8Wx37XGME6LvUE7cWorCeoNKyuwXpq1U/s320/IMGP8026.JPG" width="307" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Here you can kind of see the sparkles in the water that come from the paper I used...</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">So that is my project... don't be limited by just using alcohol ink markers or being afraid to try other types or paper...or adding water! It is just paper, after all and some "mistakes" can be the best thing ever! Thanks for popping in!</div><div align="center"><br />

REMEMBER ME???<div align="center">Well... it has been a while for sure... but I am back! Life has been crazy and I have had alot of changes... but I am back again...Tanned, Rested and READY!!! Here is a card that I made using <a href="http://www.staedtler.com/products_com?ActiveID=2195">STAEDTLER</a> KARAT Watercolor crayons.</div><div align="center"> Here is the card...</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiVUhrXbara9k_fjXnV6nBnF0dtSLff6-5Jh-emL7rPQsoo-G3IDPHhizuWWgAJ7vUq3Z5Z5gUo2h0onbsl9AXcBQt-E4WiO_kV_Cw1NfyhmXeCLBwSbapyLF8DRNS3NriMCzrE9u7Oxpw/s1600/IMGP8019.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" dea="true" height="333" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiVUhrXbara9k_fjXnV6nBnF0dtSLff6-5Jh-emL7rPQsoo-G3IDPHhizuWWgAJ7vUq3Z5Z5gUo2h0onbsl9AXcBQt-E4WiO_kV_Cw1NfyhmXeCLBwSbapyLF8DRNS3NriMCzrE9u7Oxpw/s400/IMGP8019.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">And here is how I made it!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"> I took the watercolor crayon and I colored directly onto the stamp. I did mist the stamp first with a little bit of water with a spray bottle that I got at target for like $1. I colored red first and then added orange and some yellow highlights. Oh and I colored the stem green. Then I stamped it onto watercolor paper that I spritzed lightly with water as well. Dont get to crazy with the water... you want the image to blurr... but you still want to be able to tell what it is. Then I just stamped the rest of the images without recoloring to get the lighter look. I did the same thing with red only and then I added some stickles and here is my card. For real... it took like 10 minutes... and I think that this would be a lovely set of cards to make for a gift for someone...</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Thanks for popping in... and watch this spot for some giveaways coming soon. and THANK YOU to my loyal fans...I hit a rough patch... but on to bigger and better!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />

I love Valentines Day! I love the colors, I love the candy hearts and I LOVE the <a href="http://artimpressions.com/">Art Impressions</a> Valentots! I stamped this little cutie with black Stazon onto watercolor paper. Then, I used <a href="http://www.staedtler.com/products_com?ActiveID=2195">STAEDTLER</a> watercolor crayons to color this little darling in! I scribbled some of the crayon onto scrap paper and then I used a water brush to liquefy the color and painted her in! I added some glitter to the pom pom on her cap and here is my creation!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-gpmw0Pdh-UU/TwZS0Ryi49I/AAAAAAAACxo/Fb7sGWbuTtI/s1600/IMGP8012.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="312" rea="true" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-gpmw0Pdh-UU/TwZS0Ryi49I/AAAAAAAACxo/Fb7sGWbuTtI/s400/IMGP8012.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Where did the darling roses come from you ask... well... I MADE THEM!!! here is how! I used a push mold from <a href="http://www.staedtler.com/products_com?ActiveID=2195">STAEDTLER</a> and some FIMO effects clay. I pushed the clay into the mold, removed it and here is my flower! The best part? I can make as many as I wan...in any color I want and I can make a whole cookie sheet of them in like 20 minutes! If you done want to by alot of clay... you can always so what i did and that is to add some extra color for dimension by scraping some <a href="http://www.staedtler.com/products_com?ActiveID=2195">STAEDTLER</a> karat soft pastel chalks into a little pike and brushing the color onto the clay before baking it! It is a great effect and adds dimension and character super fast! i adhered them to my card with glue dots! easy peasy! Thanks so much for popping in and be sure to keep watching this page for more great creations!!</div>Dawnhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09140121088088367591noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-298573196994933868.post-14185684039886594722012-01-05T13:41:00.000-05:002012-01-05T13:41:27.489-05:00Auntie Lovelle...Pulling Out All The Stops!<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-OvfEmDdPqtQ/TwXtc7j31dI/AAAAAAAACxc/oHaoP5F0TYo/s1600/IMGP8011.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="292" rea="true" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-OvfEmDdPqtQ/TwXtc7j31dI/AAAAAAAACxc/oHaoP5F0TYo/s400/IMGP8011.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Here is a fun card I created! I have been house shopping and it is a daunting task! I thought she looked like I felt! OVER IT!!! LOL anyway... I stamped my image in Black Stazon and then i scribbled a little of each color that I wanted to use on some scrap paper... I used a water brush to liquefy the color and add it to my image!Quick and easy!!! And for the shading? SIMPLE! Just add more pigment to the brush and go over the image where you want it darker! I hope you enjoyed this card and thanks for popping in!!!</div>Dawnhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09140121088088367591noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-298573196994933868.post-8664389548703371592011-12-18T06:15:00.002-05:002011-12-18T06:15:00.052-05:00Merry Christmas Lynette!<div align="center"><br />

How darling is this little foot ball guy? I love the stamps for boys... (now that I have one) and I just dont think that this guy could be any cuter! I colored him with copic markers and had so much fun doing it! I Really enjoyed the versatility of this stamp because it comes with many other sayings that are just perfect for boys of all ages! I adhered him to a cranberry panel after I cut him out and I thought that this football "star" would look awesome on some paper wmbossed with stars! Then I added the sentiment and detailed it with Viva Decor pens. Anything Goes!<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhFV_dgIgN_QHRD-K-o71MZodklSf1GxlUoneKOOyVu5ezOIce3RXDKYJ4zDSt5oIbQMZRNN7x1owBap1fKkENMRbdD8EqhwIcJbcWtwUMilKVG8_qVPhr3nBHeBoGrZ1xeMqywU1dSoi8/s1600/Scan3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="247" nba="true" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhFV_dgIgN_QHRD-K-o71MZodklSf1GxlUoneKOOyVu5ezOIce3RXDKYJ4zDSt5oIbQMZRNN7x1owBap1fKkENMRbdD8EqhwIcJbcWtwUMilKVG8_qVPhr3nBHeBoGrZ1xeMqywU1dSoi8/s320/Scan3.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">So... when a challenge reads "anything goes" I tend to step outside of the box and let the creativity go. SOOO, that being said... I got out the <a href="http://www.shop.woodwareusa.com/Peel-Off-Stickers_c3.htm">Woodware Peel Off stickers</a> and the Pearl Ex and this is what happened. I stuck the stickers onto the cardstock and then I got my Versamarker out. I colored in the empty spaces with it and then I rubbed Pearl Ex into the when I removed the <a href="http://www.shop.woodwareusa.com/Peel-Off-Stickers_c3.htm">stickers</a>, this is what I was left with. I colored it with copic markers and then i used the bow and the hearts for the embellies and the </div><div style="text-align: center;">3 papers are the brown, the red and the argyle! I used her image Blue Fairy in my card today. I had to go against the grain and make my "Blue" Fairy Pink! I colored her using Derwent Inktense watercolor pencils and I love the effect they give! For the embellishments, I used some glittery paper, some awesome flowers and the prettiest pink ruffled ribbon for May arts.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"> Currently all Caron Vinson designs are 25% off AND if you leave a comment atevery blog along the way...you will be entered in a drawing for a $20 gift certificate! Here are your stops along the way:</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
