WHAT??? NO STAMPING????

So, that is the challenge over at Stamp Something...I didn't think I knew how to do that! I belong to a stamp club that my awesome friend Jen runs and about 12 ladies go once a month and eat and chat and eat some more and somewhere in there... we stamp! She showed us this card and how to make these darling pocket books using Stampin' Up punches and DSP. WELL... here was the answer to my no stamping question! I have to give her the props...She showed us this card... and then I changed the colors a little bit and added the piercing. Let me tell you! I LOVE these little pocketbooks! So this is my entry... I hope that you will like it and be inspired to make this yourself... or at least enter the Stamp Something challenge! Thanks for popping by! And thanks for the well wishes about my silly headache. Well, here is another 3-D creation from me for a Challenge. Darn these challenges...they are just so...so... CHALLENGING! This one was from Mothers and Daughters Creations and the challenge was to make a Thanksgiving table decor. UGHHH!!! What to do... what to do???

I did not want to do the usual so I had to cook this one for a while and come up with an idea that would be unusual... like me! So I made table name place cards... with a twist! I included 2 pieces of paper and a tiny pencil for the guest to write down 2 things they are thankful for and to
put them in the Happy Thanksgiving box before the meal begins. Then, during dessert, I thought it would be a great time for Daddy to read them and we can reflect on our Blessings!I really LOVE this idea (if I do say so myself, right)and I know it will be a wonderful way to thank our Heavenly Father for all of our blessings... seen and unseen. I hope you will try this idea and add a little bit of gratitude to your meal as well!

DRS Thanksgiving card and my darling Ava's 4th Birthday...

I love this image from DRS Designs. I knew it was going to call for copic markers,crystal effects and some sponging...so I kept everything else pretty simple.I used SU cardstock and designer series paper, and for fun... a little bit of ribbon!

DRS Designs have some really GORGEOUS stamps for Thanksgiving and for the Christmas holiday season!They also have some completely darling snowmen stamps! I am a sucker for snowmen... so wait and see if you don't become one too when I am done creating my cards with all of them!!!

Well... thanks so much for looking at my card. I have SO MUCH to be thankful for already! It was my darling Ava's 4th birthday today and my darling Momma was able to make the trip to be here to celebrate with us!We have been so very blessed!!! I just felt like a Thanksgiving card was what my blog needed today! Thanks for stopping by...

Aloha!!!!

I have had this little stamp for a while and this paper was BEGGING for it!!! I used a sketch challenge from Mothers and Daughters Creations Challenge blog and got out my new SU designer paper and came up with this little beauty! I love love LOVE the color combo... ( I just followed the colors from the paper) and the sketch was pretty easy to follow. After I stamped the image and colored it with copics, I added the sky and the beach. I colored her outfit and her lei with markers and glitter pens. Then I got out the gel pens and the prima flowers and embellished the daylights out of this card!!! I also love that the image looks like a tattoo!

The ribbon colors match the designer paper colors and the whole thing just kinda works! I had NO idea what I was going to come up with... but this little wahine showed me the way! I hope you enjoy this card as much as I did... ALOHA, Y'all!
