I made this birthday altered paint can for the challenge over at the DRS Challenge Blog. The Challenge was to make a birthday surprise! I made a paint can that you could fill with all kind of wonderful birthday surprises! I covered the can with red paper and then I added some fun blue ribbon. Next I cut circles and scallop circles with my nesties for the top of the can. I embossed with red glitter EP this sentiment from DRS. I used this awesome birthday cake stamp, colored it in with copics and then went over the icing in pink SHIMMERZ... it really looks like icing! I cut a ton of ribbon matching my color scheme and tied them to the handle! Now, to fill it! My birthday is approaching and I would like it filled with diamonds! that IS April's birthstone after all! Thanks for stopping by and please play along with our challenge! it is a great way to get the mojo going... and our blog candy drawing will be tonight! I can't wait to see who wins! These new releases were AWESOME and so fun! Thanks for stopping by~

I love this. So cute. My girl scout troop is going to be collecting birthday items for girls that live in a pregnancy home here and I think I will get some cans for them to fill with birthday goodies.
