It's that time at DRS Designs again! Another new release...and this super cute froggie is one of them! I LOVE the look on this little guys face...and his big googly eyes are the BEST! I colored him in with copic markers and the I added some sparkle to the water with a glitter pen. I cuttlebugged the backgound because I thought it looked like water. Then I added some depth by sponging the background with a darker ink color. I love the way this ribbon tied (pun intended) all of the blues and greens together... then, the fun sentiment and here is my creation! I hope y'all have a TOADally wonderful day and thank for hopping over! See ya tomorrow...

ARTful Inkables Peacock Gift Card Box
I made this little gift card box using ARTful Inkables new Paisleys and Peacocks set. I embossed the Peacock on the circle and then I sponged inside the die to add the green. I added sparkle blue dots around the edges to match the ribbon. I embossed the feather on the green paper and then I decorated the rest of the box with ribbon. I LOVE the look of these boxes and I was always intimidated by them... like they were hard to make or something! This went together so quickly and I think it is darling... and I hope that you will agree. Please make sure you check out ARTful Inkables to see the other fun new sets that were released earlier this month! Thanks for stopping by!

Sweet Pea Stamps Fairy Card
OOOOOHHH!!! I LOVE coloring these images. This is another card that I made using the stamps from Sweet pea Stamps. Y'all... I LOVE to color these stamps and I consider it therapy when I do! It makes me so happy and I just love all of the beautiful images that Lynette, the owner, offers. I used my copics, gel pens and glitter pens to color this in and then I added all of the flowers and dew drops to embellish this card. I love the soft pallette of colors and the wings look so plush. I used my nesties to cut out the flourishes and then I sponged them in for some depth. I hope you enjoyed this card! Stay tuned to my blog this week for several fun announcements and some fabby sneak peeks from DRS Designs! Thanks for poppin in!

Weaving, Embossing and Watercoloring...(and some stamping too!)
I made this super fun card using ARTful Inkables new sets, Peacock Pagentry and Paisleys and Peacocks. For the woven background, I chose a designer paper that had the colors I wanted to use in it and I cut them into one inch strips. Then I chose a solid color in my pallet as well. I adhered them to a 4 by 5.25 piece of card after I wove them together. Then I trimmed the edges to size. I took my Peacock Pagentry stamp and embossed the background with detail gold embossing powder. Next, I embossed this awesome Peacock with gold as well and watercolored her. I cut a matt to match the shape that the peacock is on with my nesites. I added this wonderful bow and a fun flower to finish my bow off and here is my creation! Please take a look at the blog hop over at ARTful Inkalbes that began yesterday and leave comments for a chance to win some of the new releases! Thanks for stopping by!

Stamp N Plus Scrap N Black and White Cards
These are some cards that I made using Stamp N Plus Scrap N Stamps. they have a huge selection and I loved these vintage-y looking fairy's. The challenge was to use black and white and no other color. I did use grey... but that is just shades of black, RIGHT? So here are the cards that I made... I love the look of the black and white and I think that they look vintage-y too... like the stamps... This is a quickie post today because I have a 13 hour day ahead of me... doing hair... good thing I love it.
Have a lovely day and thanks for stopping by!

Paper Makeup's M4TW Challenge
Ok, so this time, the challenge was challenging for sure! It was to make a card with NO LAYERS!!! How is that even POSSIBLE, I thought? Well...it can be done. I used this super cute apple set and I alligned all of the apples onto a clear block. Then, I stamped them all at the same time onto my card. Then I added the sentiment seperately. I colored the apples with copic markers and then added crystal effects to make them look shiny and delicious! I used glitter pens for the green lines and added some bling in the corners. SOOOO... it can be done... ya just really gotta think. Please make sure to play along with this challenge and then upload your creation to the Paper Makeup blog so we can admire your hard work! Thanks for stoppin in! Have a wonderful weekend~!

Every weekend, Paper Makeup has a challenge that is called Makeup for the Weekend... or M4TW for short. The number indicateswhat challenge we are on...19 already... that was fast!
This week, it was a color challenge. We were to use kraft, red and blue. Here is the guy that I came up with using joe the baseball squid. He is colored with copic markers and I put crystal glaze over his one eyeball to make it all shiney.I used SCS sketch challenge number 270 as well. I tried to make something that would be kinda boyish because that is where I need the most practice with my creations! Please check out the Paper Makeup blog and play along with M4TW19 and upload your creations so we can all enjoy them! Thanks for stopping by!

AWWWW... How Could You NOT Feel Better?
So... My precious little boy is sleeping and my precious little girl is at preschool...AND the dishes are done.
What's a mommy to do? STAMP, of course! I got out my cutie pie gardner stamp from DRS Designs and got busy creating! I love the whole cutie pie collection, but this little gal went with this GET WELL sentiment perfectly! This sentiment has the words "Get Well Soon" on the bottom of this sentiment... but I trimmed it off so that it would fit my nestie and I used it on the inside of the card! Another reason to love unmounted rubber... easy to alter to fit your need!!! (And did I mention CHEAPER???) I colored her with copics and some glitter pens, added the flowers from Petaloo and here is my creation! Thanks for popping by! Have a wonderful, HEALTHY day!

Another Fun St. Patty's Day Card
I made this one a little while ago and I just got to posting it. This little guy is so cute all decked out in his green... but he DOES look like he is up to something! I stamped the image and colored it with copics. Then I added Flower Soft for the textured look in the grass. I matted it on green paper and used glitter pens to add some sparkle to his gold...
Then I stamped the sentiment from DRS Designs newest release and used a nesite lable to mount the sentiment on. Simple... but fun and the rainbow really add the right ammount of color, don't you think! thanks for stopping by!
