Brigid Ashwood's Steam Punk Bee...so COOL!!!

I have never ever in my whole life heard of Steam Punk...I mean I know who Sid Vicious was and all of that... But Steam Punk? Clueless. Well, Then Sweet Pea Stamps offered this gorgeous stamp and I am ALL OVER THIS TREND! I even have an embossing folder that has that theme (which  I used for this card). OH... and then i found some DP that matched and when i sanded it... the clocks showed up even better! i LOVE when that happens!!! I love the whole mechanical look of this image. I colored it with watercolors, gel and glitter pens and I had these brads that fit the theme perfectly. you can go to Sweet Pea Stamps and Check them out... Again, It is Brigid Ashwood Sheet 4 Plate 105...Thanks for popping in!

Look at this Springy Stamp from Prickley Pear

I love this little stamp from Prickley Pear! It is called Country Church and I colored the dogwood flowers with copic markers. I don't know if you can tell... but the 2 larger flowers are stamped twice, cut out and popped up for added depth. I added some flower soft and added it all to the embossed background. I hope that you are enjoying spring like we are here in the south... it has been gorgeous! Thanks for popping in...

In Style Stamps Sketch Challenge...Molly Shops!

Check out this super fun Sketch Challenge over at In Style Stamps. I LOVE their cute little stamps and they have digis AND rubber. I am not so great at all of the computer mumbo jumbo...so I like the rubber stamps. they come already mounted on Cling... so they are ready to go... YIPEE!
This is the sketch... and ...
THIS is my creation.
I used MOLLY and some superfun paper from my LSS. I loved the lanterns and it reminded me of how much fun I had shopping in China town.
I colored her with copic markers and I used a rub on for the sentiment and cut it and adhered it to my card. Thanks for stopping in and please play along with the challenge...and when you do... be sure to post it to the In Style Stamps blog!

Iused a punch for the grass, and did some sponging on it for a variation in color. the butterflies are from a die that I had and I used the atyou spica pens on the for some glitter and bling. I used a cloud template in the background and did some sponging to add them...

We are back from the weekend for another challenge here at Woodware USA, and it is to use a sentiment as your focus. Sometimes we forget about the words, so this week is all about what you are saying! The sentiment doesn't have to be large to take center stage as evidenced by our design team samples today!

I hope you were able to catch the news about our partnership with StampingScrapping.com. You can now purchase Woodware USA through that site along with other fabulous tools and embellishments and everything else under the sun!

This is my card for the challenge this week... I used the peel off stickers on patterned paper, cut them out... arranged them and added my sentiment that is from the set Fairy Tots...How cute is that? I hope that you enjoyed this card and if you are looking for my blog candy... it is here...
