You Asked for GLITZ... You got GLITZ... PAPER PRETTIES!

The Challenge at Paper Pretties this week is to use glitter...well SAY NO MORE!!! Starting is easy... it is stopping that I struggle with!!! I had so much fun making this card and Heather... if you are out there...I am now hooked on this little gal and I will be going broke... so THANKS!!! HEE HEE HEE... like I need encouragement to buy stamps... NOT! I was so happy to play along with this challenge and I stamped for ME...not DT commitments... just for creating!!! I love when I can do that! Anyway... here is my card and here is all of my glitter and i hope ya love it! I used a glue pen and glitter dots on the skirt, glitter pens on her earrings and glitter paper for the background for the sentiment! Somebody stop me! I LOVE this stamp. Thank you Jacque for giving it to me...it brightens my day! I love the sailor suit as my Daddy was in the navy for 20 years and the little boy reminds me of my precious son...Jacob. I love the soft palette that I chose and I think this would be a great card for someone who is having a baby boy or also as a baby thank you card as well. it was really easy to do and i used water color paper and ink to color him in! ARTful Inkables Think Ink 25...Shaker Card with SEW YOU!

Walk on the Wild Side with DRS

Well...I was looking through my DRS Designs stamps and I just HAD to create with this super smiley elephant. She said she wanted a pedicure and a bow. The earrings were my idea! Anyway... I followed the sketch that by now you ALL must know about and I this is my creation. I HAD to use the sentiment because ... well it is PRECIOUS and just fits perfectly! And how could I not ink this little lady one more time before she went back into the stamp binder?

Woodware USA Mermaid Easel Gift Card

I made this super cute easel card by using my nesties for the fun shape and my WOODWARE USA stamps! I LOVE mermaids... I kinda like to think i used to be one... but that is a whole other post... ANYWAY...I stamped her on neenah paper and colored her with my copic makers. I added Teal Shimmerz to her tail... cuz, she is a MERMAID and they HAVE sparkly tails ya know! Then I thought that this would make the cutest gift card holder just by slipping one in there... so I used a rub on that I had that had that sentiment of a GIFT FOR YOU! Who doesn't like to see that? Well... thanks for popping in and keep your eyes peeled as we will be announcing the WWUSA DT and I am sure that there will be festivities to follow!    

DRS Designs Pet Sympathy Stamp...Because it Happens.

They are members of the family and it hurts to loose them. What makes it better is when someone acknowledges that they have a friend who is grieving the loss of a pet friend. DRS Desings have come up with these images and the perfect sentiment to show that you care. I sponged the background to make it look like Heaven and added some bling...( I believe in a blingy heaven) and I used a stamp positioner to make sure my sentiment was in the perfect place... and here is my card. ARTful Inkables...A Retro Dress Card using Sew You!

I LOVE the new SEW YOU set from Artful Inkables. There are 11 stamps in this set and I just cannot seem to stop using it! The sentiments are wonderful and the images stamp so clean and nest... LOVE IT! Anyway... here is a card I made using this awesome new set and a fun dress template that I found online. I cut the dress on the fold to have an A2 size card. Then I embossed the front panel of the dress on my cuttlebug. Nest, I cut another layer of pink paper and I stamped the swirl around the neckline and the bottom of the dress. I cut out the apron and used a fun lace edge punch to dress it up a little bit. I stamped and embossed the scissors and tucked them into the pocket of the apron on the front. Then I stamped another image and a sentiment on the inside of the card and here you have it! Thanks for popping in!!!

Ya know...it happens to everyone. You get a new awesome set of stamps or 2 (thanks Kristin) and then YOU GET SICK!!! And I mean Hospital sick and YOU CANNOT STAMP!!! SERIOUSLY???Well... this is one of the cards I made before all of that silliness happened and I wanted to make sure that I showed you this gorgeous set from ARTful Inkalbes. It is called SEW YOU and has everything to do with sewing. This is a brand new set that goes so well with our OTHER new and awesome set called SPOT ON SUMMER and you can use dots or BUTTONS to complete the stamps. I love the versatility of these sets because they make really precious cards...QUICKLY! In Style Stamps Color Challenge...Come and Play!!!

I used this sweet little Chloe image and of course added all my bling and embossing and sponging! So FUN to do! It Is Time For Some DRS Designs Sneaky PEEKYS!!!

Ok... At DRS Designs... we usually DON'T use background paper because we don't have to.WHY, You ask??? Because they have so many wonderful background stamps that you can MAKE your own background paper with... THAT'S WHY!!! But I made this quick because the baby was sleeping and Ava was drawing and I stole like 10 minutes. So please forgive me DRS... and know that this sentiment HAD to be made into a bra card!!! I thought this paper was perfect and the lace trim just really set this off perfectly!

YUMMMMM... Latte!

I am never happy with the weather. I live in the south... and for the last 847 days in a row.... it was over 90. With like 1000% humidity. Well, then it cooled off to like the 80's... and yeah... I am really in the mood for a latte... a HOT one. I keep my home COLD... and when it is hot outside... no problem. Well, when is cools off... I freeze! But don't tell  my family that because they will probably turn the air off! I came across this card that is made with all DRS Designs stamps! It really put me in the mood for one of these delicious HOT latte's now... and to share it with a friend WOULD be espresso-ly wonderful! I colored this image with copic markers and used a glitter pen in the steam. I made the card a fun shape... but it will still fit an A2 envie! Thanks for stopping in...and don't complain about the weather like I do sometimes... just adjust your Latte... they are yummy iced too!
