This stamp is from Stamp Oasis and I made it a while ago and just thought it was fitting because of my bathtime gigglers! My computer was down for a few days and I had some minor surgery ... so no stamping for me... But, dear readers... I'M BAAAACK! Thnaks for popping in!

EARTH DAY... AND EVERYTHING IS GREEN!!!

Earth Day ... Presented to you by... (In order of apearance) DRS Designs, Paper Makeup and ARTful Inkables. For my first card, I used the bubble background and  heat embossed it. I stamped the frog and colored him in with copics and the  I used my nesties to cut out the sentiment... AND   here is my fun, happy singing frog. He just makes me smile!
The next card is from Paper Makeup and this little guy is George. I LOVE the monster stamps that they have and I have a huge collection of them! I used my copics to color him in and I followed this weeks sketch challenge over at SCS... number 276.
The last GREEN card is from ARTful Inkables. It is for this weeks think ink challenge... which was to use a paint swatch. I did not have one... so I MADE one. I love this stamp set. This was really a huge challenge for me...I had to do math... not my strong point AT ALL!!!
Well, thanks y'all for stopping in and hug Mother Earth today...and everyday!

WHAT??? No Coloring???

Today... I am showing you all this card that features DRS Designs Spirograph circle and this Thinking of You sentiment... and guess what... NO COLORING!!! That is so hard for me to do as I have a close, personal relationship with my copic markers... but I love the look of this card and sometimes I need to remember that simple is good too! I ran the background paper through the cuttlebug, sanded it and then inked it to get the perfect match to my papers and ribbon. I stamped the spirograph stamp and then I used nesties to cut it out and mounted it on the colored paper. I did the same thing for the sentiment and I sponged the edges and here is my card. please be sure to stop by the DRS Designs store to check out all of the new releases... Thanks for popping in and have a lovely day!

To me she will always be like 12... but I know that she is all grown up... and now she is studying for yet another medical board exam!!! I made this clip bookmark with her in mind... be cause I am SOOOO proud! I used my nesties to cut out the scalloped circles and the regular circles. Paper Makeup Stamps...A Week in Review

Today I am featuring MILO... the rockin' rat from Paper Makeup's new rlelase that was released on the last week. This little guy is so funny and is totally rockin' out with the band! I love the sentiment and I think that this would be an awesome card for your fave guy...or... whoever rocks your world! I used copic markers to color him in and nesties to cut Milo out... then I sponged inside of the nestie for a soft shadow. To give texture to the large drum, I colored it first and then I used my clear blender to remove some of the ink and leave the spots! Hope ya love it and please check out the other designer's blogs for the rest of ...

Galloping Under the Silvery Moonlight

Oh, how poetic!!! I LOVE the way this card came out! I used the bouncing brayer technique. That technique is so easy and so pretty! I knew that this horse from DRS Designs would be prefect for this background! I stamped the horse silhouette and then I added the moon by sponging silver ink through a circle stencil. Then, with a white gel pen, I added the "craters"! I thought that the silver swirls would look pretty and then I added some dew drops for texture and cuz I LOVE them!!! So, here is my super simple stunning card! Try the technique for yourself... and check out DRS for this awesome stamp! Thanks for checking in!

Peacocks and Paisleys and Pearl-ex... FUN!

I made this card using the Peacock Pagentry background and the Paisleys and Peacock sets from ARTful Inkables. I used versamark and stamped the image on white cardstock and then I used Pearlex to highlight the feathers and the peacock to really make them stand out. For fun, in the corners, I added dew dops and tear drops. I find that they stay adhered best if I use crystal effects. Then, I used some punched and added the sentiment from the Paisley and Peacocks set. I have so enjoyed working with these sets not only for the images but also for the way they come mounted on cling AND the handy dandy little storage case is all included in the price. Stop by ARTful Inkables today and check it out! Thanks for stopping by...
